A 20 minute chair massage is an excellent introduction to the benefits of massage.
No oils are used and massage is done over your clothes.
A massage chair can be brought to you in your home or office or you can arrange to meet the therapist at his in-home studio.
A 60 minute relaxation massage combines basic Swedish techniques of compression, effleurage (long smooth movements), petrissage (kneading), vibration and more. In full-body massage, you are invited to undress to your own level of comfort. You will remain professionally draped at all times. Your comfort and privacy are a priority at all times.
Myofascial Therapy is an effective form of Deep Tissue Massage which addresses postural distortions like a forward head posture or rounded shoulders. “Fascia” is a connective tissue that runs throughout the body. When Fascia is tightened along with underlying muscles, it can pull a body into a postural distortion. Myofascial therapy will help alleviate these distortions by loosening the fascia. It is preformed without oil, so that the therapist can easily detect the fascial restrictions. When preformed correctly the client will feel as if oil is being used. The benefits may be numerous, with the possibility of increased range of motion, better postural stance, or hopeful relief of neck pain, shoulder pain, or lower back pain.
Neuromuscular therapy is intentional, anatomically specific bodywork using sustained hands on pressure to release trigger points which are usually tender and need the most work. Trigger point release is the sustained pressure and movement into the fascial system in order to eliminate trigger points (fascial restrictions) which aid in removing unneeded emotional patterns, knots, aches and pains.
The Raindrop technique is a powerful technique using healing essential oils. This technique is a tool for assisting the body in healing. It combines several holistic methods and techniques to bring balance and alignment to the body in a non-invasive manner. This technique is designed to create harmony in the body’s systems on a PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL AND EMOTIONAL Level. The Raindrop Technique is a unique blending of ancient native american healing traditions, energy work and pure essential oils that has helped thousands on their journey to healing and wellness.
Reiki is a Japanese spiritual practice that supports healing and personal development. The word Reiki roughly translates to “spiritual energy”. Practicing the system of Reiki helps to restore a sense of balance, relaxation, and a general sense of well-being. If you are looking for a natural, non-invasive, and simple method of healing, you should give Reiki practice a try. During a Reiki session, clients remain fully clothed as the practitioner places their hands on and/or close to the client’s body in order to facilitate a space for healing. Common health concerns relieved by Reiki treatment include digestion, insomnia, anxiety, pain, chronic stress, and discomfort. I am a Third Degree Reiki Practioner.
